Day Care Roundup

We recently received a bunch of pictures from Maddi's school and I've been accumulating a pile of things to scan. So, here's a bit of this and that from daycare.

Love this little piece they did for Thanksgiving. I have an Easter one from Owen that still hangs in my office at work.
Some artwork from our dear Owen. This is limited edition since he actually hates to do anything art related (much to my dismay) so each piece is treasured!

This piece was to depict what job they want to have when they grow up. Owen wants to be a Space Ranger (just like buzz.)
I think this is supposed to be his family...

On the day of the Fall Harvest festival, Maddi got to explore with leaves. She must be more adventurous than her brother because he just used to scream his head off during sensory stations.
She seemed to like the pumpkins too.

Maddi's Baptism Weekend Part 2

Got some pictures from my mother-in-law this past weekend while home that I wanted to share as an addendum to the previous post about the baptism weekend. They are great!

Maddi's Baptism Weekend

This past weekend we headed to Toledo for Maddi's baptism.

On Friday during the day we hung out with Papo and Nonna Barbara.
In the evening we welcomed Maddi into the Catholic church. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Maddi wore the gown that has been passed down in my Mom's family and is about 95 years old. Owen wore it as well.

The baptism was at the cathedral in Toledo which is where Owen was baptized and we were married.

We had dinner with everyone at the Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Toledo. Lucky for Lucas (Jen and Todd's son,) he is the only picture we got from dinner. Such a cutie. The evening was so wonderful and it was really nice to spend time with everyone.

On Saturday we went to the hands on museum. Owen really enjoyed trying out all of the exhibits.We also hung out at Brett's parent's house.

On Sunday before we left we went to breakfast for my mom and to the mall for a quick visit with Santa. Owen and Maddi both did very well! Owen asked for a Mack truck and the rescue helicopter. Twice. I think he was really excited:)
