June Roundup

Well, clearly I have fallen away from blogging this month. But it's for good reason!!! We are moving back to Houston, TX:)

Brett got a job so we are on our way. We went down last weekend to look at houses and found one so we now have an offer down on our first home. So exciting and scary all at the same time.

We did manage to capture some of the fun this month though so here it is.

Father's Day Presents
For Father's Day Maddi made Brett a picture but Owen is finally old enough to really start making gifts, yay!!!! So, we did two things:
1) He filled out a list of questions about all of the things Brett likes. It was so cute.

2) We also used freezer paper stenciling to create a t-shirt. Owen drew a picture of Brett. It turned out SOOOO cute.

Maddi is growing up so fast and is so much fun right now:) Here are some recent pics. of her:

Owen really likes writing now which is so great because he used to hate it. Maybe it's because he gets to sharpen the pencil!

Nonna Barbara made a blanket and pillow for Maddi's babies which she loves!!!!


In mid June, the church celebrated Corpus Christi by going throughout the neighborhood and praying at several altars. They asked if they could use our house. We were so honored and it was really neat to watch.

Getting ready to head off to the lake! Let's hope all goes well because poor Maddi is sick. But it worked out for Owen because he and I got to take the bus home which made him very happy::)
