Happy New Year!

We rang in 2008 with Owen by our side. Can't say it was the craziest New Year's we've ever had, but was definitely one of the best.

Owen says, Happy New Year! Thanks to Jen and Todd for the cute bib:)

Our friends from Houston stopped in while in town to meet Owen. Owen LOVED Doug.

Owen was baptized at Rosary Cathedral by Father Charles Singler. This was the church where we got married and was the priest that married us. It was a very special way to welcome Owen to the Catholic faith. The gown he wore was worn by my Grandmother, her siblings, my mom and her siblings and me. It is almost 100 years old. It was very special to have Owen wear it.

We were very blessed to have lots of family and friends in attendance.

Afterwards we had a nice brunch reception at Sylvania Country Club. Unfortunately we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures:( Thanks to everyone that came, especially those that traveled for the event. It meant so much to us to have you there!
