Marching Right Through

Hard to believe another month is over!!!

We had lots of fun on the last day of this month, although we are missing the warm weather that teased us for a few weeks earlier in the month. It's back to "average" which means cold. Boo.

Anyway, that wasn't going to dampen our spirits.

Yesterday morning we went to our park's Easter Egg Hunt. Maddi was a little unsure at the beginning but then had lots of fun. Owen of course had a blast. 

(Disclaimer about the helmet: we are not paranoid parents, he wanted to wear it!!!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Poor Maddi was terrified of the Easter Bunny. Owen knew it was a person so he wasn't real thrilled either. 

 

In the evening we went to a birthday party for some school kids. It was at the bounce house place so we knew it would be lots of fun!!!

 

 

 

 

 

We did manage to enjoy some outside time during the warm weather snap. Most of it we didn't catch because we were just enjoying but here are some park pics. from a Monday afternoon that we played hookie, left work at 4 and got outside!!!

Like a Lamb

Well, it's mid March but it certainly doesn't feel like it. It was 80 degrees today!!!! I'm so loving it. It makes me so happy and it's amazing how much energy I have. This is how winter should be.

Anyway, this past weekend we had brunch on Saturday with our friends from daycare, Nataliya, Kevin and their little boy Alexander. It was lots of fun.

On Sunday our friend Kristy came over with her little girls Ava and Gia. They came for a visit and to pick up some baby stuff. We have officially decide we are done at 2 and I was finally mentally ready to begin giving stuff away:)

Maddi LOVED the little baby. It was so cute to see her with Gia.

Maddi has also been making a lot of progress with her talking. She knows almost all of her colors and can even count to 10! We are so proud of her.
