April Roundup

The weather has been just gorgeous and we are taking advantage of it as well as having lots of indoor fun this month too! Here are some of the highlights:

Owen is playing Tball through the Katy YMCA this spring. It's fun to watch and Maddi has a ball playing with the other younger siblings on the playground.

I think their favorite part of tball though is going out to dinner afterwards and annoying Daddy;)

Our good friends, the Babbs, live in Houston but in another part of town so we decided the next time we got together that we would just have each other spend the night so the kids could have fun but then they would go to bed and the adults could have fun! So, we had them over and it was really great. The kids had a blast together running around and playing, eating smores and watching a show before bed together. Maddi had Caroline sleeping in her room and Owen had Dylan and Garrett sleeping in his room. Owen was over the moon he was so excited! After the went to bed we reminisced over photos with each other from the past 13 years:) It's amazing how good friends can make your soul sing.

Maddi is into putting on makeup every morning now with me. It's pretty cute.

Lastly, working from home has its advantages. I do miss the people and I sit at a desk on calls for 9+ hours a day. BUT, on a gorgeous day I can sit outside and enjoy some fresh weather at least.

Also, to combat the sedentary life style Brett made me a treadmill desk! It's awesome. Now I can be working while getting some movement. I love it!!!! And I'm so proud that he made it from scratch.

Hope you had a good April too.
